J & R Tremain have been Farming around the village of Downe for over five generations.
We started producing mini wrapped bales of Haylage on a small scale around 10 years ago. Year on year demand grew, our production therefore increased to meet demand.

• Haylage production has currently become the
  principle enterprise on our farm.
• Now in the form of MainBale Haylage
• MainBale is available direct from our farm
• Each Bale weighs on average 25kg

We have built up extensive knowledge and expertise over the years. We now produce what we consider to be an excellent, consistent quality product. This is backed up by years of independent analysis which gives testimony to this fact.

We have two dressage horses ourselves at competition level; we aim to produce every bale of MainBale Haylage as if it were being fed to our own horses!
